We are so involved in chasing our daily goals and maintaining our status quo, that we lose touch with who and what we actually are: a part of a planet, an important link in a complex eco system that needs us as much as we need it. NURTUREWhen we say NURTURE we think about our relationship to nature, the co-existence of us with this vast ecosystem. As we explore untouched parts of the ocean or remote landscapes, they become part of our awareness. And as we come back home with memories and photographs, we give a voice to them, a chance to be acknowledged for their serene beauty. We protect what we love, and that is why we at Urban Nomad take part in many awareness programs around the ocean and the coastal region of Tamil Nadu. Our Safety Standards
Crew selection is balanced between the local guardians of the seas of Pondicherry (Local fisher folk) and PADI Instructors. A course director, Instructor, Specialist are constantly involved.
EU, EC, CE, IRS, IVA, Certified Boats with periodic fitness clearances
Skippers, Captains & boat tinder - certified drivers & EFR & Rescue Certified by PADI
Radio communication sets
Registered Adventure sports specialist & operators
Insurance policy offered
Diver to Instructor ratio 1:1 for DSD / Sailing / Horse Riding / Firing (for all indivisual sports activities as well)
Experience diver’s 3:1 instructor ratio For courses & Fun Divers
Constant communication with Marine Police
Constant communication with Coast Guard India
Daily weather report
High quality compressors for breathing air
Doctor on call
On board oxygen & First Aid
Hospital in the radius of 1kM from Dive Resort & 2km from the Jetty.
