Powerboating is great fun and you can be driving the boat yourself in no time, practicing skills and learning how to stay safe on the water.
This RYA two-day entry level course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence (ICC).12.. Candidates under the age of 16 will be issued with an endorsed certificate

The sailing school will provide all the equipment,boat for training, instructors, pick up and drop to the jetty.
FAQ's
MINIMUM AGE
12yrs (Candidates under the age of 16 will be issued with an endorsed certificate). After your course you will able to drive a powerboat under the supervision of an adult. From the age of 16 you can progress within our training scheme.
WHY DO I DO THIS COURSE?
This course is aimed at Boat Owners, Boat Operators and people with a desire to own and / or be in charge of a recreational powerboat. The course covers the content of the Powerboat Handling Certificate, with added competencies drawn from the Ministry of Surface Transport, Government of India guidelines.
PRE-REQUISITES
This is an introductory course, so there are no pre-requisites.
ASSUMED KNOWLEDGE
None
ABALITY AFTER THE COURSE
Able to drive under supervision
DURATION
Conducted over 2 days.
WHAT TO DO AFTERWARDS
Please ask us about our Yachting Association of India's Logbooks so that you can log, record and monitor your progress. Continue training in Powerboat Handling to gain a Safety Boat Handling Certificate or Powerboat Instructors Certificate.
